Immunization Updates for Students

The Atchison County Health Center is out of Menningococcal Vaccine and TDap (tetanus/diptheria/pertusiss) vaccines. All Seniors and Eighth Graders were required to get additional vaccinations to begin school this fall. Since they are out of the vaccines at this time, I will let you know when those vaccines are available and then your student will need to receive the vaccination.

Some doctors offices’ will have the vaccines – insurance should cover it as well child checkup, but you would have to check with your doctor to make sure.
