1. Paraprofessional

The Tarkio R-I School District is accepting applications for a paraprofessional for the current school year. The paraprofessional must be able to communicate effectively with students and teachers and work as a team with other members of the district. The successful candidate must be able to handle stressful situations and honor confidentiality of students and staff. Paraprofessionals are required to obtain 60 college credit hours, or have passed the Paraprofessional Assessment or have completed the 20 Hour Substitute Certificate Course. 2. School Bookkeeper

Tarkio R-I School District is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and organized individual to join our team as a School Bookkeeper!

Responsibilities include:

• Monthly payroll processing

• Accounts payable and financial recordkeeping

• Budget preparation, tracking, and reporting

• Coordination of the annual school audit

• Preparation and maintenance of teacher contracts

• Management of employee insurance and benefits

• Maintenance of personnel records

• Recording and maintaining board minutes

• Maintaining and utilizing the school information system

• Assisting with other financial and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, software applications, and databases

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple responsibilities

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Position & Benefits:
